All Saints as a Cell Church
All Saints is a Cell Church - a church made up of small groups. The cell groups form the basis for sharing, teaching and fellowship and outreach activities.
The Cell analogy here is a biological one and depicts life, growth, multiplication and diversity as found in the cells of a living organism.
A Cell Church is modelled on the five values shown here and naturally has Jesus at its centre.
These values underpin all we do as a Church, in our life together and our life as part of the Thorpe Acre Community.
Typcially the Cell Group gatherings follow the pattern of the 4 W's
- Welcome
- Worship
- Word
- Witness
although the detailed format is largely left to the group itself to arrange. In the Worship section, the group will typically address questions posed by the previous Sunday service talk, particularly relating these questions to modern day Christian life.
Cell group meeting times are listed in the section on the right of this page...there's at least one meeting most weekday evenings both in and out of the parish and there are others that meet in the day for those that can't make these. If you are interested in joining a cell group, please contact the office by telephone or email, or contact Keith Elliott or Terri Skinner - contact details are on the Contacts page
