Children's groups at All Saints
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these
Matthew Chapter 19 Verse 14
Children are an important part of church life at All Saints.
A number of groups meet on Sunday alongside the main worship service (see right).
On the first Sunday of each month children and adults normally join together for an All Age Worship service.
In their groups, the children learn bible stories and enjoy craft activities and games to help them understand and remember them. The children's groups are staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers who are all CRB cleared to lead these activities.
Groups meet throughout the school terms with a short break over the summer period.
If you are coming along to Thorpe Acre with children for the first time and your children wish to be involved in the groups, then speak to one of the sidespeople (at the entry door) or clergy when you arrive.
Special Children's Events
Toddler's Church
Toddler's Church meets regularly on Wednesday at 10.00am. It's run by a dedicated team headed by Eva Leaf (pictured left) and provides a mid-week session where pre-school children and their parents/carers can learn biblical stories and enjoy the word of God.
To find out more about Toddler's Church, contact Eva through the Church Office (telephone details at the top of this page)
Holiday Club
For many years now, All Saints has run children's holiday events based specifically around a week long Easter holiday club.
Although Easter is still a great focus, we now produce events at various times of the year to give greater continuity to those who come along. Contact Emma via the Church Office for details of the next event and keep an eye on our Events listing.
